Kate was born and raised in Sydney, working in oils before moving to watercolour in 1995. The fascinating effects achieved when paints are dropped into water and sprayed with water keep her inspired. Her work is vibrant and strong, usually displaying a dynamic sense of movement. Her style is definitely contemporary with colour used quite forcefully.
